What is vertigo

The common name of dizziness in medicine is vertigo. Vertigo; the sense of real dizziness and all motion hallucinations are described as vertigo. Such definitions as sense of objects are turning around, feeling insecure in the space, sense of ground is slipping away, sense of all objects are moving and turning around and feeling like an earthquake occurs are used for vertigo. Dizziness, which is called as true vertigo, is caused either by vestibular system disorders or disease of inner ear and brain. Vertigo should not be interfered with anemia, diabetes, hypertension or other systemic diseases of the body such as feeling woozy, blackout, fainting. We are able to treat vertigo complaints due to the disorders of vestibular system at a high rate by using new developments in the world for the last one year.
How the body provides its balance:
There are three elements which constitute the balance. Due to the disorder in one of these elements, the balance is distorted and dizziness may occur.
1. Inner ear (also known as labyrinth) determines the direction of movement, that is, whether it is turning, forward or backward, from side to side, up or down. It works just like a water gauge.
2. Eyes determine the location and direction of movement of the body in the living space.
3. Brain spinal cord and muscle system. Pressoreceptors in the joints and spinal column determine which part of the body is below and which parts touch the ground. Detection receptors in the muscles and joints determine which part of the body is moving. The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) processes stimuli from other systems, resulting in a sense of coordination between these three systems. This synchronized work on the body ensures that the person is balanced.
In a person with dizziness complaint, disorder of one or more of these 3 systems causes vertigo. The solution for vertigo starts to find where the trouble is. Treatment phase starts afterwards.
